Reducing Violent Crimes In Toronto

Violent Crime Reduction

As mayor, my goal is to reduce the amount of violent crimes that are happening in the city.  My end goal is to greatly reduce the crime rate that is happening in Toronto and on its streets.  There are many plans and ideas to make this happen.  The first thing that is utmost important is to inform the public and its people about how drugs and alcohol often go hand-and-hand when it comes to crime.  Many ideas are to foster the schools, the health system and the social assistance programs that violence can be greatly reduced.  Another step will be to encourage, provide strength and offer the ability for people to speak out who are witnesses or have been victims of crimes in order to identify and find out exactly how crime is happening in order to prevent such violent crimes.

As a mayor, the concept will be addressed easily that violent crimes have no business being in the Greater Toronto Area and to have this city and the communities to come together to help put a bite against violent crimes.  It is important to remember that violence hurts everyone.  Too much violence can reduce the amount of tourists that want to visit Toronto or reduce sales and profits that can be made in local businesses.  The basic plan is to work together so that the goal is to make this city safe as much as possible.  This means supporting and encouraging the technology that Toronto has in order to reduce crime and capture the violent criminals.

To help decrease violent crimes amongst the youth, as mayor, the plan is to make sure that there is equal education to everyone and that everyone has a chance and can afford obtaining an education.  Becoming mayor will be all about supporting teachers by hearing their concerns and helping to reduce the burdens that teachers are facing in the schools. Being a leader means presiding over the meetings and finding answers and making the right choices in order to reduce violent crimes that the Greater Toronto Area has been experiencing.
